Big Horn Sheep

Deep in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, lie some of the most beautiful scenery and spectacular wildlife. The big horn sheep is one of my favorites.  Like many of North America's great animals, the bison included, they had populations in the millions on the North American continent, before European hunters decimated their population to a couple of thousand.  Fortunately through conservation programs which included boy scouts efforts in Arizona, the Big Horn sheep have returned.  So without Further ado, here is Alberta's Provincial Animal -
