I have been fortunate enough to travel to Taiwan to work with the companies who help build bicycles for Q.B.P. and their brands. Walking into these factories is awesome. It is like taking a trip back in time, heading toward an earlier eara in America, when manufacturing was king. Here they still make things. Their employees know how to work with their hands and what they create is a work of art.
Here is the Foundary Land:
Reams of flat coil arrive at all different strengths that are ready for production.
Tube is bent into a cylinder and sealed together.
Out pours a completed bicycle tube.
Tube is cut into lengths.
Final cuts and bends are applied to the tubes.
